Gorgie City Farm Edinburgh

Gorgie City Farm relies on its friends: the people who visit regularly, and always donate a few pounds; the people who use its services, whether it's Pet Boarding, Gorgie Garden Services or Mobile Pets; and the people who freely volunteer their time to muck out or garden. Gossiping ChickensAs Manager David Drury puts it, "Without friends, there could be no Farm. And we would all be at a huge loss without it." In recognition of this,the Farm is re-launching its membership scheme - and asking all its friends to become Friends. The new Friends of Gorgie City Farm will be even more informed about what's happening, and even more involved with what's going on.

The city farm is open every day 9.30-4.30 during British Summer time and 9.30-4 in Winter. We are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Our accessible child-friendly working farm has a range of farm animals and birds to see, including pets. There are a range of educational and volunteering opportunities. There is a play park, cafe, toilets, produce stall and several gardens.
